2017: Loverde Builders received the Contractor’s Association of Truckee Tahoe’s Residential Project of the Year for the third time for their Inspired Elegance Project in Tahoe City.

2016: Tahoe Quarterly Mountain Home 2016 Edition “Outstanding” Award for Tahoe Vista Lakeview.

2013: TRPA’S 2013 Best in the Basin Awards Program Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Loverde Builders for the third time for the outstanding landscaping at the Parker Residence.

2013: Loverde Builders received the honor of winning two awards in the 10th Annual Tahoe Quarterly’s Mountain Home Awards: The Craftsmanship Award for the Parker Residence and the Great Room Award for the Valhalla House.

2012: Loverde Builders was named on Tahoe Quarterly’s Mountain Home Awards Honorable Mention list of quality homebuilders.

2012 & 2008:  Rich Loverde was re-elected to his 4th term as Director of the North Tahoe Fire Protection District.  North Tahoe Fire is one of the only two agencies in the North/West Tahoe area that has elected representatives.

2011: Loverde Builders was again named in Tahoe Quarterly Magazine’s yearly Mountain Home Awards as the winner of the Best Small Lakefront for 2011 category for an in-fill home on a 50-foot steep, downhill lot on the shores of Meeks Bay (see Meeks Bay Jewel).  This home was also awarded TRPA’s 2011 Best in Basin Award for the way it fits into the natural land profile and how natural the landscaping represents TRPA’s guidelines.

2010: TRPA’S 2010 Best in the Basin Awards Program Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Loverde Builders for the second time for their lakeside land restoration on the H-B project in Rubicon Bay at Lake Tahoe.

2009: Loverde Builders received the Contractor’s Association of Truckee Tahoe’s Residential Project of the Year for the second time in 5 years for their Lovewell project in Tahoe City.

2009: K+KB Magazine awarded Loverde Builder’s Lovewell project, Laughing Bear Lodge, the Merit Award for Best Bath.

2009: Rich Loverde is a Founding Board Member of CATT and was elected by the 15 member Board to preside as Board President for 2009.

2009: Tahoe Quarterly Magazine named Loverde Builders’ Walker project as their 2008 Outstanding Project of the Year.

2006: The eight Loverde Builders built homes at Hurricane Bay Estates were awarded TRPA’s 2006 Best in the Basin Awards Program Certificate of Appreciation for a Residential Modification Project.

2006: Loverde Builders, Inc. Received the Contractors Association of Truckee-Tahoe’s (CATT) Contractor of the Year Award for continued excellence and quality of work.

2005 – 2006:   The magnificent 17,000 square foot Pennington Residence won the Residential Project of the Year 2005 Award from the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe for Loverde Builders.  Built on 1 1/2 acres and completely landscaped, this project was completed in 13  month’s time. The finest in design and materials were used in the home including marble, onyx, travertine, and granite.  The home includes a wine room, exercise room, theater, and a two bedroom guest suite with it’s own living area and full kitchen.
