Valhalla House

Upon the opening of Martis Camp, Loverde Builders and Ward Young Architects joined together with a financial partner to develop the Valhalla House. The combined architectural skills of Ward Young and Rich Loverde, bound by their combined interest in W. R. Hearst’s Hideaway called Wyntoon, on the McCloud River below Mt. Shasta and designed by Julia Morgan, influenced the design for this house. This home won the 2013 Tahoe Quarterly Great Room Award. The combined talents of the two companies grew into the most successful spec house sale to date in Martis Camp.
